This new easy-to-use Spanish-language consumer resource offers over 300 topics from 70 government agencies and nonprofit organizations. A unique feature of healthfinder® español is the ease with which users of the site can switch between Spanish and English versions of the same information. English-speaking family members or health professionals can use this feature to search in English for information to share with Spanish-speaking relatives or patients.
 

International Association of Laryngectomees
The IAL was formed in 1952 by representatives of 13 individual clubs to answer the need for coordinating the activities of the clubs.  The purposes of the IAL is to promote and support the total rehabilitation of the Laryngectomee by the exchange of ideas and dissemination of information to member clubs and to the public. To facilitate the formation of new clubs, to foster improvement in Laryngectomee programs, and to improve the minimum standards for teachers of post-Laryngectomee speech. The IAL currently has approximately 200 member clubs, most of which are located in the US or Canada.

National Cancer Institute -  CancerNet & PDQ Files 
Head and Neck Cancer Issues - CancerNet and the NCI's PDQ files tell about the current treatments for most cancers, the site linked here is specific for larynx cancer and other head and neck cancers. The information in PDQ is reviewed each month by cancer experts. It is updated when there is new information. The patient information in PDQ also tells about warning signs and how the cancer is found. PDQ also lists information about research on new treatments (clinical trials), doctors who treat cancer, and hospitals with cancer programs.

Support for People with Oral and Head and Neck Cancer, Inc.
During the past ten years, SPOHNC's program of support has become a source of information for oral and head and neck cancer patients who are trying to gain a better understanding of their illness and their lives. News From SPOHNC, a newsletter published by the organization, hopes to increase awareness of the many ongoing issues related to oral and head and neck cancer while offering information, support and encouragement. This newsletter is published nine times each year from September through June. SPOHNC charges a $20.00 annual membership fee.

WebWhispers Nu-Voice Club 
WebWhispers, an online laryngectomee support group with almost a thousand members world-wide, is the largest and most active laryngectomee support group on the Internet and is an IAL-affiliated club. Along with two Email ListServs, a monthly newsletter and a loan closet, the club also offers extensive information on larynx cancer, its symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative voice options; plus links to healthcare providers, laryngectomee product suppliers, laryngectomee-friendly recipes, and local support clubs. Use and participation are free, although users may wish to voluntarily become Voting Members via a $5.00 annual donation.  A valuable and "must visit" site.

The Yul Brynner Head and Neck Foundation
Founded by Yul Brynner and Dr. George Sisson in 1983 to further the education, research, treatment and support for head and neck cancer, the Foundation attempts to spread the word about head and neck cancer and the difficulties incurred by those stricken with the disease - and how these can be overcome until prevention and cure become realities.  They sponsor an International Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week each year.
